When Peter was 6 days old, we tried to get a few group shots of all three brothers at his newborn session. It was not happening. Samuel ended up having an ear infection, and getting his picture made with the baby that took his place as baby of the family was not in his plan. But today was different. Precious Samuel is well and back to his sweet, sweet self. I got a little scared at first that it wasn’t going to happen, but we just needed a few minutes to regroup. A few of these melt me into a puddle of mush. I have photographed these babies many times, and every time I brag on them for being such cuties. Can you even stand it?

This picture of Milam makes me smile for multiple reasons. First, he is beautiful. Not sure if his dad likes me to call him beautiful, but I am not sure how else to describe him. Second, he looks soooooooooo calm in this picture. He was bouncing off the walls when I got there. It is so funny to me because the energy level between boys and girls is so different. Milam and I are buddies. I think I actually make him more energetic than he normally is, which is hard to believe!! And the other thing that makes me smile is how you can’t really tell in these photos because he is in his fancy clothes, but this child is ALL boy. He cracks me up and I just love him.

And Samuel. You are a little angel. This is probably the sweetest child I have ever been around. I could love on him all day long.

Peter has already grown and changed SO much. He is a little love, too. His mom thinks he looks more like Milam, but I can’t tell yet.

And finally, just so you get a real look at what 95% of our time together looked like. Milam is moving that head very fast to get that kind of air in his hair! And Peter thinks it is funny! I do think that Peter is going to have a personality more like Milam’s so I hope his mom is ready for two wild men!
