Mary Ellis, Tollie & Katherine | Little Rock, AR Children Photographer

The goal of this session was to get some 3 year portraits of Miss Tollie with the hopes of getting a few family shots and some of these darling three sisters together. When I first arrived this morning, Tollie came out with a huge smile on her face and saying, “Hi Miss Kelly!!” I knew she was going to be a piece of cake. And she was. That sweet girl would have done anything I asked and her little giggle might be the cutest I have ever heard. Things got a touch more tricky when we started trying to get all three girls in the same frame. Katherine is the baby and she is a little fire cracker. I love a challenge and was not at all worried about it. I assured their mom when I was leaving that we would have some group shots because whenever it feels like mass chaos, the pictures are always so precious. I am so happy that we got these of the girls together…..

See what I mean about Tollie? I could eat her up.

This is their new puppy, Winnie. I really wanted to bring her home with me.

And just so we keep it real around here, this is what it was like most of the time. :)

This precious family invited me to their home to capture some sweet moments. Carter recently turned 2 and Luke is 3 months. It took Carter a bit to decide if I was okay, but once he did, he was so sweet and fun. By the end we were talking Diego and Backyardigans like old friends! :) It was very nice to meet you all. You will recognize these cuties from many sessions in the past. Last time they were on here Peter was a tiny newborn. Now he is 5 months old with chubby thighs and a grin that would melt anyone into a puddle of mush. And it was his turn to be baptized. Lane asked if I would mind taking a few family photos before the ceremony, and of course I was more than happy to do it. I love these boys. It was super duper hot, but everyone cooperated unbelievably well and we were done in just under 30 minutes.

And Lane and I were chatting about how incredible all three of the boys did and we laughed because she said, “Of course when I have zero expectations, they are perfect.” And this is always the case. All littles get stressed out when we put these high expectations on them to perform for the camera. If we just let them be, we get photos like this, even with a 3, almost 2, and 5 month old……..

And brothers that sometimes pester each other will do this for fun, completely unprompted.

I feel like a broken record, bragging on the adorableness of my clients all of the time. But I really mean it. My clients are always such cuties. And I have been so lucky lately. Every session has just been a breeze. Tom and Molly were no exception. What really got me about these two was how kind and caring they were to each other. I have only been around these two for an hour of their lives, but the connection between them was so obvious. I mentioned it to their Dad, and he confirmed how awesome of a big brother Tom is. He is just smitten with his precious baby sister and she really loves him back. I love that. Enjoy!

Another really cute pair of siblings! These two were so easy to work with. They were incredibly well behaved and polite. They did anything we asked of them and they did it with a smile! :) I couldn’t have asked for an easier session. Thank you so much for our time together this morning. It was a joy!

These beautiful twin girls came from quite a distance for a fun weekend in Dallas that included an hour or so with me. Lucky me! I really wanted this session to go well since it was absolutely not a possibility for us to have a re-do should something go wrong. I don’t know why I was stressing, I have never had to have a re-do before, but I was more nervous than normal. I quickly realized that the girls and I were going to be friends and have no problems. These are magical images to me. I just adore them. Thank you so much to this dear family for making this special trip happen. It was an honor. Enjoy!

They have on different broaches, so I do in fact know who is who. Fiona is on the left and Willow is on the right. Proud of myself for that!

They definitely have that special twin bond going on. Fiona would call Willow “Armadillo” and they would both crack up. :)

Remember how I just took Christy’s maternity photos? Well, meet 6 day old Ella Claire. She is quite literally perfect in every way. She has the softest skin. She is so sleepy and curled into any position I put her into. She has an adorable mohawk. I love her very, very much. I snuggled this baby girl all afternoon yesterday and told her momma that I was taking her for at least an hour today and was going to surprise her with some beautiful images. So as soon as her belly was nice and full, she came to me. I rigged up the most ridiculous looking studio set up, but it worked perfectly and the lighting was exactly what I would have hoped for. It really worked quite well, which makes me very happy! Be watching for much more to come of this little beauty because we will do some sibling shots later this week with big sister, Ava. Ava isn’t quite 2 yet, so that could be interesting!

She really was perfect for me and it took a lot for me to give her back. I might need to steal her for an hour or two every day.

It is hard for me to not call her Ms. Victoria. This is Lucy’s teacher from last year and I can’t even begin to tell you how much she means to our little family. I watched Lucy really grow and blossom as a little girl with the help of Victoria. Lucy loves her dearly and still talks about her on a regular basis even though school has been out for months. I was so honored and excited when she asked me to do her maternity and newborn photos. She is stunning and looks absolutely amazing as a soon to be mom. Enjoy!

This is my beautiful neighbor, Christy. Somehow we waited around until days before Ella is scheduled to be here to get any maternity shots of her pretty tummy. She will be induced if she isn’t here by Wednesday. We are all just dying to meet baby Ella. Doesn’t Christy look amazing?

These three brothers are SUCH cuties. There is just something about having all brothers or all sisters that I love so much since I only have sisters. I think there is such a unique bond between them. These were three of the easiest and most polite boys I have ever met. They get along so well and were very easy going. Loved my morning with them. Enjoy.

Their mom waited until Garrett’s front teeth were missing before we met. So cute!
