Katie, Taryn & Kenzie | Dallas, TX Senior Photographer

I have been sooooooo excited about doing this session with these three girls for quite some time.  Sweet Katie is a past client of mine.  I have always bragged on how much I love her family, especially her momma, who always brings the most yummy cookies and treats for my family.  And this time she came with a birthday present for Annie and a special gift for Lucy because she knew it was hard for her with Annie getting all of the attention lately.  And she brought the iced cookies that I strongly want to hide from my family so that only I can have them!  :)  I promise that the treats are not the only reason that I love her.  Her personality and spirit remind me of my own mom, who obviously has a very, very special place in my life and heart.

I have high hopes of breaking into the high school seniors market.  I am passionate about it and really, really excited to get going.  I love everything about what can come of working with teenagers – great fashion, funky locations, posing, etc.  These three girls could not have been any more perfect for me to start on.  Not only are they extremely beautiful on the outside, but they are just great girls.  A few of their accomplishments are newspaper editor, volleyball players, cheerleaders, and hopeful class presidents.  They are smart and outgoing and the world needs more high school students like these three.  I feel blessed to know them and know that not all teenagers are crazy like I was!  There is hope for my babies.

I loved how confident they were in front of the camera.  And they should have been, they looked amazing.  We had a makeup artist come and do their makeup.  I wanted this to feel like a really fun and special day just for them.  I think we were able to accomplish that.  I know I had fun.

I had to make s slideshow or else this would have been the worlds longest blog post ever!!

A just to highlight a few of my favorites in case you don’t want to go through the entire slideshow.  Wow, they were so much fun to work with!

Ohhh Kelly. . . YOU are just amazing!! I’m blown away by what you captured. Simply stunning! The girls had an absolute blast, and you received the ultimate compliment from 17 year olds on the ride home — “Kelly is so cool I wish we could all hang out with her again next weekend”! Thanks for sharing what you so brilliantly created.

Ummm…why exactly are you feeling tentative about breaking into this market? You done broke in already, girl. No. question.

As a mom who just bought senior photos of her daughter one year ago, I can tell you any mom would be giddy to have images such as these hanging in their home. They (the moms) might even cry when you share them, not that I’d know anything about that. HAHA

Excellent work.
